Manage your caller
from your phone.

Plug your caller into your phone over USB. Push sounds from your vault, pull sounds back, organize what’s on the caller — without a laptop. Same vault, same account, in your pocket.

Included with Standard and Pro plans

What it does

The whole bridge. Mobile-first.

01

Plug in. Push sounds.

Connect your caller to your phone over USB and push sounds from your vault straight to the caller. No laptop, no SD-card shuffle to your computer. Sit in the truck, queue up your loadout for the day, plug in, hit go.

02

Pull sounds back to the vault.

Got a caller full of sounds you want in your vault? Pull them up to the cloud in one batch — automatic deduplication, format detection, and category mapping. The bridge between your gear and your library, in your pocket.

03

Full management on the caller.

Delete sounds. Reorder slots. Create folders. Move sounds between categories. Everything the desktop bridge does, your phone does too — with the same atomic-write, hidden-file-clean reliability under the hood.

04

Same vault. Same data.

Sign in with your HowlVault account. Every sound in your cloud library is there. Changes sync to your desktop in seconds. Browse, search, preview, queue — all the vault features, mobile-first.

Questions

About the mobile app.

When does the mobile app launch?

Android is in active beta with hardware-verified support for FoxPro X360 and Lucky Duck. iOS is in build — hardware compatibility confirmed on iPhone 15+ over USB-C, with App Store submission tracking a few weeks behind Android. Join the waitlist and we'll email you the moment each store goes live.

Is the mobile app free?

Browsing your vault and viewing what's on a connected caller is free. Any write action — push, pull, delete, reorder — requires HowlVault Standard ($4.99/mo) or Pro ($9.99/mo). Free-plan users can install the app and look around; upgrading unlocks the actions. Beta testers get lifetime Pro at no cost as a thank-you for early feedback.

How does the phone actually connect to my caller?

Plug a USB-C cable from your phone to your caller (FoxPro X360 / X48, Shockwave, HellCat, etc.). For callers without a USB host port (Lucky Duck Revolt / Riot, ICOtec GEN2), pop the SD card into a USB-C card reader and plug the reader into your phone. Android and iPhone 15+ both work. Older Lightning iPhones aren't supported.

Can I upload brand-new sounds from my phone?

Yes. The pull-to-vault flow uploads new sounds from a connected caller to your cloud library with automatic dedupe and category detection. For dragging in dozens of MP3s from a folder on your desktop, the web app at app.howlvault.com is still the easier surface — bigger screen, bigger drag target.

Which calling brands does the mobile app support?

Same as the desktop bridge: FoxPro (Shockwave, HellCat, X24, Patriot, and the FoxPilot X360/X48 family), Lucky Duck (Revolt 2.0, Riot 2.0, Super Revolt, Rebel), and ICOtec GEN2. Lucky Duck and ICOtec require an SD-card reader since neither caller has a USB host. FoxPro callers connect directly with a USB-C cable.

Why does it need an SD card reader for some callers?

FoxPro callers are designed to act as a USB drive when you plug them into a computer — so they also act as a USB drive when you plug them into a phone. Lucky Duck and ICOtec don't expose their SD card over USB; you have to remove the SD card and plug it directly into a USB-C reader. It's an extra step on the hardware end, not a software limitation.
