How it works

Lucky Duck-ready sounds in three steps.

  1. Step 1

    Drop in your sounds

Drag your MP3s and WAVs onto the page, or tap Choose files. Drop a whole folder's worth at once.

  2. Step 2

    We check every file

WAVs become 44.1 kHz MP3s. MP3s at a different sample rate are remade at 44.1 kHz. MP3s that already match are left exactly as they are.

  3. Step 3

Copy them to your SD card

Download all as a .zip and replace the folder on your Lucky Duck's SD card. Every sound now plays, and they play together.

Questions

About WAV to MP3 for Lucky Duck.

How do I convert WAV to MP3 for a Lucky Duck caller?

Drop your WAV files on this page and download the MP3s. They come out at 44.1 kHz, 192 kbps MP3, ready to copy to the caller's SD card. It's free and runs in your browser.

Why do sample rates matter on a Lucky Duck?

Lucky Duck's own Super Revolt manual says sounds recorded at different sampling rates can't be played together. If you mix a 22 kHz MP3 with your 44.1 kHz sounds, playing two at once on S1/S2 won't work. Making every sound 44.1 kHz fixes that.

Will it hurt the sound quality?

Sounds that are already 44.1 kHz aren't touched at all; you get the exact same file back. Only sounds at a different rate are re-made, at 192 kbps (128 kbps for mono), a high-quality setting for caller sounds.

Which Lucky Duck callers is this for?

Any Lucky Duck that takes your own MP3s: Super Revolt, Revolt, Riot, Roughneck and the 2.0 models. Matching rates matters most on the Super Revolt for two-sound playback, but a matched library is a good idea on every model.

Can I use WAV files?

Yes. Lucky Duck callers don't play WAV, so drop your WAVs in and they come out as 44.1 kHz MP3s ready for the SD card.

Are my sounds uploaded?

No. Everything happens in your browser, on your own computer or phone. Your sounds never leave your device.

What about .LD files?

Leave them alone. .LD is Lucky Duck's own locked format and plays fine as is. This tool is only for MP3 and WAV sounds you've added yourself.
